| Online craps is just as exciting and profitable.
While the game does look complex and has its own extensive terminology,
it is relatively simple to master. Craps is played on a large
sunken table with dice thrown by the shooter. The shooter is
the player who is currently holding the dice. Other players
may join in and place their own bets.
There are quite a number of bets to choose from when playing
Craps. In the simplest form of the game, you place a bet on
the Pass Line and attempt to roll a 7.

Playing the Game
Placing bets in Craps can be as simple or as complicated as
you choose to make it.
There are many betting options available, but you only need
to understand a few of them to play the game, have fun and
win.
Craps is a game where you bet on the numbers you think the
next roll of dice will produce. The first roll is called the
Come Out roll. This is where you place a bet on either the
Pass Line or the Don't Pass Line and try to roll a 7 or 11.
If you succeed in doing this, the bet will pay and you can
make another bet.
If you fail to roll a 7 or 11, a point is established on
the number of the value of the dice rolled. Once a point is
established your objective is to roll the same number again
before the next 7 is rolled. If a 7 is rolled you lose your
bet. Once a point has been established you cannot remove your
bet from the table.
While you are trying to make the point, you can add extra
bets to the table.

Types of Craps Bets
There are several types of bets that can be placed on the
Craps table.
The Pass Bet
This is a bet that you will throw a 7 or 11 on the Come Out
roll, or that you will make the point before the next 7 is
rolled.
The Don't Pass Bet
This is the opposite of the Pass bet. This bet is placed against
the shooter. It wins if craps is thrown on the Come Out roll,
or if you fail to make the point. If a 12 is thrown, the bet
ties.
The Come Bet
This bet works in the same manner as the Pass bet but cannot
be made on the Come Out roll. The Come and Don't Come bets
are available to allow players joining the table to take part
in the action immediately, instead of having to wait for the
shooter to make or miss the point.
The Don't Come Bet
Again, this bet works in the same manner as the Don't Pass
bet but cannot be made on the Come Out roll.
Odds Bet
This is an additional bet made on a Pass, Don't Pass, Come
or Don't Come bet that has already been placed. Odds bets
can only be made once the point has been established. The
advantage on an Odds bet is that it is paid out at true odds.
Win Bet
This bet can be made on the following numbers: 4, 5, 6, 8,
9 and 10. It is a bet that one of the numbers listed will
be rolled before a 7 is rolled.

Hardways Bet
This bet can be made on a 4, 6, 8 or 10. It is a bet that
one of the numbers listed will be rolled in its double form
before a 7 or that number is rolled in any other combination.
For example, two dice showing 4 would be Hardway 8.

being 7. It pays 5-for-1 (4-to-1).

Understanding the Craps Odds
Odds can be expressed in many ways. The most common way
of expressing odds is as 'something to something'. For example,
2:1 is read as 2-to-1 and means that for every 1 credit bet,
2 credits of profit will be returned with the original bet if
you win.
Generally, where the odds are expressed as a-to-b, the total
return to you, if you win, will be a + b where 'a' is the profit
and 'b' is the original bet.
Odds are sometimes also expressed as a-for-b. If this is
the case, for every bet of 'b', a total amount of 'a' will
be returned if you win. This includes your original bet.
Even money refers to odds of 1:1 where you would receive
double your money back if you win.
